We are currently recruiting for a Design Technology Technician to join a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in the Tunbridge Wells area, starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with practical skills, a keen interest in DT, and a desire to support students and teaching staff within a creative learning environment.
The Role:
- Supporting the Design Technology department with the preparation of materials, equipment, and resources for lessons
- Ensuring classrooms, workshops, and practical areas are safe, organised, and ready for student use
- Assisting teachers with practical demonstrations and project preparation
- Maintaining tools, machinery, and workshop areas to a high standard
- Supporting students during practical lessons where required
- Managing stock, ordering materials, and ensuring resources are available for lessons
