We are working with a highly regarded, inclusive secondary school located in the Richmond area, seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Art Teacher to join their creative faculty. The Department

The Art & Design Technology faculty is a well‑resourced and collaborative department, covering Art, Textiles, Graphics, Product Design, Food Preparation and Nutrition, and Design Technology. The department delivers a broad, creative, and practical curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities at A Level depending on experience.

The Role

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be able to teach Art at secondary level
  • Have strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Art and creative education

  • Demonstrate commitment to inclusive practice and supporting learners of all abilities
  • Be a collaborative team player with a proactive approach to departmental development
  • Be open to professional development and ECT mentoring support where applicable
