Academics are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Counselling Teacher in Bradford on a part-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher or experienced counselling professional who is passionate about supporting students and helping them develop their knowledge, skills and understanding within the counselling sector.
The Role
As a Counselling Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and supportive lessons to college students, helping them develop both their theoretical knowledge and practical understanding of counselling.
You will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality counselling lessons
- Support students in developing their knowledge and practical skills
- Create an engaging, inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Assess and monitor student progress
- Provide constructive feedback and support students to achieve their potential
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the college
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Relevant qualifications and/or professional experience in counselling
- Teaching or training experience within further education is desirable
- A passion for education and supporting young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with students
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
