Academics are seeking an enthusiastic and capable PE teacher for one of our diverse secondary schools in the South Leeds Area. This is an incredible opportunity to be a part of an evolving team who are looking for someone to share their knowledge and enhance students' physical abilities. This PE teacher role will be starting from April 2025 and will run until the end of the academic year, with the potential of gaining a permanent contract from September 2026.

Roles and responsibilities of being a PE teacher:

  • Have previous experience teaching PE across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Demonstrating a clear understanding of the curriculum.
  • Inspire the next generation by displaying a passion for sports and fitness.
  • Supporting and encouraging children of all physical abilities.
  • Organising and planning proactive and engaging lessons.
  • Collaborating with other members of the team and sharing ideas.

Essential requirements for the PE teacher role:

  • Must have valid right to work in the UK.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
