Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Ealing Start Date: September 2025 Location: London Borough of Ealing Salary: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience) Contract Type: Full-time | Term Time Only Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in your career? About the Role As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, including covering classes when teachers are absent. This is a varied and rewarding position ideal for someone looking to develop their leadership in the classroom. Your key responsibilities will include: * Delivering pre-planned lessons across KS1 and KS2 in the teacher\’s absence * Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups, helping them achieve their potential * Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment * Preparing classroom resources and supporting with general classroom duties * Liaising with staff and parents to provide regular progress updates * Following the school\’s behaviour, safeguarding and teaching policies at all times The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * A Level 4 HLTA qualification or equivalent * Previous experience working in a primary school setting * Strong classroom management and confident delivery of lessons * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * A proactive, flexible and positive attitude About the School * Ofsted rated Outstanding * Supportive and experienced senior leadership team * Located in a well-connected part of Ealing, with excellent transport links and on-site parking * Inclusive, friendly environment where staff are valued and supported in their professional development Interested in Applying?
