Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Supply
Location: Selby, North Yorkshire

Are you a confident HLTA looking for flexible work in primary schools around Selby? We’re recruiting for experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants to join our supply team from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a variety of welcoming schools, support pupils of different ages, and enjoy the flexibility that supply work offers.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
*

Supporting children’s learning in small groups or 1:1
*

Working across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
*

Managing classroom behaviour effectively
*

Contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment

What We’re Looking For:

*

A recognised HLTA qualification (or equivalent Level 4+ TA qualification)
*

Previous experience in a primary school setting
*

A proactive and flexible approach
*

Strong communication and behaviour management skills
*

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
