An enriched, vibrant and welcoming primary school based in Swindon are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to promote and support classroom learning in Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced and driven teachers to stimulate an engaging and effective learning environment that allows learners to prosper and maximise their potential. You will engage, support and develop the learning of children, assist with the deliverance of outstanding lessons and work alongside specialist professionals.

This is an ideal opening for a recent graduate who is considering a career in education or an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant who is looking for a new challenge. Previous working experience with children is admirable for this position but is not required. Relevant experience could include mentoring, coaching, tutoring, assisting in a nursery, childcare, or similar experience in a classroom setting. Supporting children with ASD, behavioural issues and learning difficulties would be extremely beneficial for this role.

The senior leadership team are actively seeking individuals who are charismatic, determined and willing to step out of their comfort zone to ensure each child has the chance to succeed. The individual appointed will assist the learning across the curriculum in core subjects such as Maths and Science to foundation subjects such as PSHE and Music.
