Academics are delighted to be supporting a friendly, well-resourced independent primary school in Richmond who are seeking a dedicated and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about raising attainment and making a meaningful impact on pupils' academic progress.
Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Primary Independent School – Richmond
Start Date: March
Contract: Full-time, long-term (with potential to go permanent)
Salary: £110-£140 per day (depending on experience)
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading small group interventions to strengthen understanding and build confidence
* Delivering targeted Maths and English support sessions
* Working collaboratively with teachers to help plan, prepare, and deliver effective learning support
* Supporting assessment activities and contributing to the tracking of pupil progress
About You:
The school is looking for an HLTA who:
* Has strong experience working within a primary school as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant
* Is confident leading academic interventions, particularly in Maths and English
* Is proactive, organised, and able to work independently as well as within a team
* Holds HLTA status or brings equivalent relevant experience
