Quantum Scholars is looking for a caring, reliable and experienced Primary Tutor to support pupils in Hereford. This role would suit someone who is confident working with primary-aged children and can provide engaging, personalised support to help pupils build confidence and make progress.
Responsibilities
- Providing one-to-one or small group tuition for primary-aged pupils
- Supporting learning in core subjects such as English and maths
- Planning and delivering sessions that are appropriate to each pupil\'s needs and ability
- Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive learning habits
- Adapting teaching approaches to suit different learning styles
- Working closely with parents, carers, schools or other professionals where required
- Keeping clear records of pupil progress and session outcomes
- Promoting a safe, supportive and encouraging learning environment
Essential requirements
- Experience supporting or teaching primary-aged pupils
- A good understanding of the primary curriculum
- The ability to build positive relationships with children and support their confidence
- Strong communication, organisation and behaviour management skills
- A patient, professional and flexible approach
- You must have the right to work in the UK.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to apply for one
- Suitable professional references
