Academics is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive primary school in Hemel Hempstead.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school.

Key Responsibilities
- Delivering planned lessons and learning activities to individuals, small groups or whole classes when required.
- Supporting teachers with planning, preparation and assessment to ensure pupils make strong progress.
- Creating engaging and inclusive learning opportunities that meet the needs of all pupils.
- Supporting children with a range of needs, including SEND, EAL and differing learning abilities.
- Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a calm, purposeful and engaging classroom environment.
- Monitoring pupil progress and providing meaningful feedback to teachers and the wider team.
- Adapting resources and learning approaches to support individual pupil development.
- Providing pastoral support and contributing to pupils' social, emotional and academic growth.
- Supporting the wider life of the school, including events, activities and enrichment opportunities.
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and pupil wellbeing.

- HLTA status or equivalent relevant qualification and experience.
- Strong experience working within a primary school setting.
