Are you passionate about nurturing the development of young children? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner or a Level 3 TA for a long-term role, starting after February half term, in one of our private day nurseries based in Harrogate. The position is long term until the end of the academic year with a possible opportunity of a direct contract for the right person.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and motivated Early Years Practitioner/Level 3 TA to become part of a supportive team that values creativity, inclusivity, and child-centred learning. You will play a vital role in supporting the emotional, social and educational development of children in the early years setting.
Key Responsibilities- Work as an Early Years Practitioner within the nursery to support children's learning and development
- Deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Observe and assess individual progress, tailoring support to meet the needs of each child
- Build strong relationships with children, parents and staff
- Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment
- Relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
- Previous experience working as an Early Years Practitioner in a school or nursery setting
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A current DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
