A specialist residential SEN school in Andover is seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join its dedicated team from September 2026. This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact within a highly supportive environment that works with young people aged 11-19 with autism, complex needs, and challenging behaviours. Every student has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and the school is committed to delivering personalised, meaningful education that supports both academic and personal development.

The school is looking for a creative and adaptable teacher who can build strong relationships, inspire confidence, and engage learners through innovative and inclusive teaching.

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual EHCP outcomes

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching students within KS3 and KS4
  • Previous experience working within SEN, SEND, SEMH, autism, or alternative provision settings
  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
  • A flexible and resilient teaching approach
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
