Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
- Lead small-group interventions and provide targeted student support.
- Deliver pre-planned lessons when required.
- Help maintain positive behaviour and an engaging learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and encourage participation.
- Support students with additional learning needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, Teaching Assistant or in a similar education role.
- Confidence supporting learning and managing classroom behaviour.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, patient and proactive approach.
- The ability to build positive relationships with secondary school students.
- A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
