A specialist SEN school in Walton-on-Thames is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with special educational needs within a supportive and inclusive environment.

Working Hours

  • Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
  • Wednesday: 8:30am - 4:15pm (CPD included)
  • Friday: 8:30am - 2:30pm

The Role:

  • Support teaching and learning across the school
  • Deliver interventions and small group activities
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff
  • Help provide a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs

Location: Walton-on-Thames

Requirements:

  • Have Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) experience or hold a recognised Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification
  • Have experience working within an SEN setting
  • Hold an enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Be able to commute to Walton-on-Thames
