Academics are one of the largest education recruitment consultancies in the UK, with over 100 recruitment consultants across 18 offices in England and Wales. Our Education Recruitment Consultants provide teachers, teaching assistants and school support staff to over a thousand Primary and Secondary schools every day in the UK, for both short and long-term assignments.

Who We Are Looking For
Applications are welcome from ambitious graduates who want to embark on their first role in recruitment. We will also be considering applications from more experienced resourcers who are looking for a new challenge where they can progress into a consultant’s positon. Our aim is for the successful resourcer to progress to a consultant role within their first 6 months depending on how quickly they learn.
Academics is a national company with a strong position in the market, which means that our consultants are representing a strong brand and have the benefit of working with an extensive database of experienced candidates.
You will need ‘can do’ approach to work and plenty of enthusiasm and energy to be the right fit for our team. We are an experienced and hardworking team looking for other like-minded consultants with a passion for education.
Role responsibilities
* 180 Recruitment Role – Resourcing side
* Advertising on job boards & CV searching
* Pre-screening candidates
* Completing compliance checks to a Gold Standard
* Meeting candidates face to face for registration
* Liaising with consultants to place your candidates in bookings
* Shadowing consultants preparing for your progression into consultant role
