A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Slough is seeking a Graduate 1:1 SEN Intervention Assistant to join their team this September. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting a pupil or small group of pupils with additional learning, social, emotional, or behavioural needs.
Working alongside experienced teachers and SEN professionals, you will play a key role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, develop confidence, and make meaningful progress throughout the school day.
As a Graduate 1:1 SEN Intervention Assistant, you will:
- Deliver tailored 1:1 and small group interventions to support pupils with a range of additional needs
- Adapt learning activities to suit individual abilities, helping pupils access the curriculum with confidence
- Encourage pupils' social, emotional, and academic development through positive and consistent support
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to the class teacher and SENCO
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families to ensure a collaborative approach
