The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Provide classroom support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 settings
  • Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences
  • Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups where required
  • Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and participation in learning
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and supportive classroom environment
  • Adapt confidently to different schools and classroom settings

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or relevant childcare qualification, or recent experience working with children
  • A positive, patient, and supportive approach to working with young learners
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a willingness to work across different school settings
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
