A welcoming mainstream primary school in Gloucester is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their EYFS team full time, starting on a temporary basis. As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will: · Support children within Nursery and Reception classrooms. · Encourage learning through play and engaging activities. · Support children's communication, language and social development. · Help children develop independence and confidence. · Assist with classroom routines and daily activities. · Support early literacy and numeracy development. · Work closely with teachers to support children's individual development. Whether you have previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Childcare Worker or are a graduate looking to build a career in Early Years Education, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills. While previous EYFS experience would be an advantage, it is not essential.
