We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team, working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This is a varied and fulfilling role, ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a dynamic school environment.

Based on the outskirts of Gillingham, our school offers a welcoming and friendly setting. Please note that due to the location, access by public transport can be limited, so applicants must have their own transport or a reliable way of travelling to and from the school.

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning. Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Assisting with small group interventions
  • Helping to create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment

You will need to be flexible, proactive, and confident in building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents. A calm, patient approach and a genuine commitment to helping every child achieve their potential are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEN
