We are currently recruiting a motivated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Rainham, Medway, Kent, with an immediate start available.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and supporting children during a key stage of their learning journey.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils across Key Stage 2 within the classroom
- Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities
- Providing one-to-one and small group support where required
- Encouraging pupil participation, confidence, and progress
- Assisting with classroom preparation and behaviour management
- Supporting pupils' academic and social development
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children is desirable
- Experience within a primary school setting is advantageous
- A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
