Academics have an exciting opportunity for a passionate French teacher that will commence from April 2025 and will run until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of a direct contract from September 2025. As a French teacher you will be based at one of our diverse secondary schools in East Leeds. In the school's most recent Ofsted report they were given an overall grade of "good" and have been praised for providing staff with high quality training, along with having an ambitious curriculum that prepares students for their future studies.
Your role as a French teacher:
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge to students across KS3 and KS4
- Track student's progression, provide feedback and help them succeed!
- Engage with other members of the curriculum by sharing ideas with the MFL team
- Display strong behaviour management and have the ability to control a classroom
Requirements for the French teacher role:
- Previous experience teaching French across KS3 and KS4
- Time management and organisation skills
- An honours degree related to French
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
