At this Secondary Mainstream school, there's an impressive SEND Hub provision tailored to meet the needs of students through targeted intervention spaces for lower school Nurture Groups and an EBSNA Group. Adapt learning to meet a range of SEND needs, including students with EHCPs. Support KS3 and KS4 students working below age-related expectations. Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that builds confidence and resilience. Monitor student progress and provide targeted feedback and support. Work collaboratively with the Deputy SENCO, Progress Mentors and English department to support student success. Contribute to the continued development of The Hub and wider SEND provision.About You Excellent communication and classroom management skills Ability to inspire, motivate and support students with a range of additional needs Understanding of adaptive teaching strategies and SEND best practice Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)We welcome applications from both SEND specialists and primary or secondary trained teachers.
