Job Description

EYFS Teacher Required – Maternity contract

Academics a leading teacher recruitment agecny are working closey with a warm, welcoming, and well-respected small village school based on the outskirts of Stoke-on-Trent, to help appoint a passionate and dedicated EYFS Supply Teacher to cover a maternity cover position, starting in mid October 2025.

About the Role:

You will be working with a delightful Early Years cohort, delivering engaging and inclusive learning in line with the EYFS curriculum. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive and friendly school team that truly values each individual child.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Is a qualified teacher with EYFS experience.

  • Has a strong understanding of early childhood development.

  • Can create a warm, safe, and stimulating learning environment.

  • Is flexible, enthusiastic, and a team player.

  • Happy to carry out full class teacher responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate, or be willing to obtain one before the start date.

  • Have or be willing to obtain a valid DBS check.

  • Be eligible to work in the UK
