A wonderful primary school in Redbridge, London seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their welcoming and inclusive team from September 2025. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity to support a delightful child in Key Stage 1 who is currently working at the EYFS developmental level and has mild autism.
This role is open to experienced SEN Learning Assistants or graduates who want to start their career in education/ working with children with SEN.
About the Role:
* Working 1:1 with a KS1 pupil with mild autism
* Supporting learning and development in line with EYFS objectives
* Assisting with personal care as required
* Creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support plans
The ideal candidate will:
* Have experience working with children with additional needs, ideally in an EYFS or KS1 setting
* Be confident and capable in supporting personal care
* Be patient, empathetic, and committed to the development of every child
* Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Show a genuine passion for inclusive education and helping children thrive
