A welcoming primary school in Billericay is looking to appoint a confident and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, one-year contract, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.
Working closely with class teachers, you'll provide classroom support, deliver small group interventions and assist pupils on a one-to-one basis where required. Every day will bring the opportunity to make a positive impact on children's learning and development.
The Role
- Support teaching and learning across the classroom.
- Deliver targeted interventions to individuals and small groups.
- Help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage pupils' confidence, independence and progress.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team.
- Provide additional support for pupils with SEN where required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has at least two years' experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
- Is confident supporting pupils across the primary age range.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
- Has experience supporting pupils with SEN (desirable but not essential).
- Is proactive, reliable and passionate about education.
