A fixed-term position until July 2027 in Grays, Thurrock, offering a salary of £95-£110 per day. An inclusive and forward-thinking primary school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Therapist to join their brand-new Autism Resource Base, which will grow to accommodate up to 10 children. The provision will be led by an experienced specialist teacher, supported by the Base Manager and a highly collaborative SEN team.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of shaping a new resource base, working closely with pupils with autism to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The Role:
- Provide tailored ABA support to pupils with autism within a small resource base setting.
- Work closely with the Base Manager, specialist teacher, and wider SEN team to deliver high-quality interventions.
- Support children to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
- Assist in creating an engaging, nurturing, and structured learning environment.
- Receive on-the-job training and professional development opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children with ASD and knowledge of ABA approaches (desirable but not essential).
