We are recruiting on behalf of an Outstanding (Ofsted, April 2025) specialist college, providing high-quality education to young people and adults with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities across London and Surrey. Students have diverse and complex needs, including PMLD, communication and behavioural challenges, and medical needs. Each learner follows a personalised programme designed to build independence, confidence, and life skills.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Lecturer to deliver engaging, learner-centred teaching and lead on high-quality learning experiences. You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons, monitor progress, and support learners to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver inclusive, differentiated teaching
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress
  • Create structured learning programmes aligned to individual needs
  • Support and supervise support staff and learning teams
  • Contribute to staff development and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • CertEd, Diploma in Education & Training, or equivalent (or working towards)
  • Experience working with SEN learners, ideally PMLD
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding
