Academics is proud to be working with a fantastic primary school in Newham, who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from October 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced EYFS practitioner to support children's learning and development within a nurturing Nursery environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team, providing high-quality support to pupils, including children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Role Details
- Start Date: ASAP - July 2026
- Location: Newham, East London
- Contract: Full-time, term-time
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Pay: £95 per day, dependent on experience
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, Teaching Assistant studies, or a related field.
- Have proven experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally within a Nursery or primary school environment.
- Have experience supporting children with SEN, including adapting activities, using differentiated strategies, and providing personalised support.
- Have a strong understanding of EYFS principles and a genuine passion for supporting children's early development.
- Be caring, patient, enthusiastic, and nurturing in their approach.
- Be confident working as part of a team and able to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers.
- Be committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all pupils.
