We are currently seeking a dedicated SEND Cover Supervisor to support students and contribute to their success and join a well-established and highly regarded SEN secondary school in Runcorn, Halton.
As an SEND Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Provide support to SEN students in the absence of regular teachers, ensuring continuity in their learning experience.
- Supervise and manage the classroom environment to maintain a safe and inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by teaching staff to facilitate effective learning.
- Foster positive relationships with students and provide emotional support as needed.
- Assist with classroom management, behaviour management, and ensuring that students adhere to school policies.
- Collaborate with teaching and support staff to meet the unique needs of SEN students.
As a SEND Cover Supervisor, you will have:
- A compassionate and patient manner with a genuine interest in working with students with special educational needs.
