Academics is working in partnership with welcoming Ellesmere Port primary schools seeking a passionate EYFS Teacher who truly understands the importance of early childhood education. This role is ideal for a creative, nurturing practitioner who enjoys helping young children take their first steps in learning and school life.
Responsibilities
- Create a warm, engaging classroom where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn
- Plan and deliver play-based, child-led learning in line with the EYFS framework
- Support children's social, emotional, and early academic development
- Observe, assess, and track progress to inform next steps
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
- Work closely with support staff to meet the needs of all learners
Qualifications
- Holds QTS (Early Years or Primary)
- Has experience as an EYFS Teacher (Nursery or Reception)
- Is caring, enthusiastic, and patient
- Understands the EYFS curriculum and early development milestones
- Brings creativity and energy into the classroom
