Job Title: 1:1 TA
Location: Ellesmere Port
Salary: £95 - £105 per day (Accrued holiday pay included)
Start Date: September Term (Pre-September supply work available)
Hours: Standard School Hours/Morning School Hours, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
- Provide specialised 1:1 support for pupils in primary education, implementing tailored interventions as part of a key partner school in Ellesmere Port.
- Execute and monitor individual support plans, track behavioural and developmental progress, and maintain high standards of classroom practice.
- Bridge curriculum demands with a pupil’s individual capabilities to support learning outcomes.
Targeted Skillsets / Qualifications
- ASD Support: Implementing visual timetables, managing sensory overloads, and utilising de-escalation strategies.
- SLC Needs: Delivering speech and language interventions and using communication aids.
- Medical Needs: Providing tailored assistance for specific physical or medical conditions under school frameworks.
Pay Structure & Start
This contract offers a daily rate of £95 - £105 per day (pro rated if on morning roles). Main fixed-term contracts commence in September, with immediate high-paying daily supply roles available to mitigate the summer lull. Registering as a 1:1 TA in Ellesmere Port provides exposure to different school environments before selecting a long-term match for the new academic year.
