Are you passionate about working with children within EYFS? Do you have experience working within a primary school or a private nursery setting? Are you looking for a full-time role working within a primary school? An outstanding Primary School in the London Borough of Havering is looking to recruit an Early Years Teaching Assistant / Nursery Nurse for an immediate start. This is a full-time & long-term post for the whole of the academic year. Permanent contracts are available from July 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
- Hours: 8:30am to 3:45pm
- Working across Nursery & Reception
- Carrying out Phonics, Spelling, Reading & Writing Sessions
- Assisting with general classroom duties
- Supporting mild SEN when needed
- Providing 1:1 and group booster sessions
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications:
- Hold a Level 2 or 3 CACHE Qualification in Childcare
- Hold a Level 6 or degree within childcare or education
- Have an understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- Have school-based experience ideally or have experience within private nurseries
- Have enthusiasm about working in EYFS and with children
- Work well as a team
- Good communication
- Eligible to work in the UK
