We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEMH school in Dover, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can build strong, trusting relationships with students who may display challenging behaviour.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH needs
  • Build positive, consistent relationships to support behaviour and engagement
  • Assist in managing and de-escalating challenging situations
  • Support students' emotional wellbeing, confidence, and social development
  • Work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to deliver tailored support
