Are you a compassionate and resilient Supply SEN TA looking for flexible, temporary ongoing work within specialist SEN schools across Doncaster? Academics are partnering with a range of supportive SEN and SEMH settings who require experienced staff to support pupils with complex needs, emotional regulation difficulties and additional learning requirements.
Position: Supply SEN TA
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply (long-term opportunities available)
Pay: Β£88.94 - Β£100 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group SEN support
- Support emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and support teams
- Follow individual education and behaviour plans
- Promote a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment
- Maintain safeguarding and pupil wellbeing at all times
Qualifications:
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEMH (essential)
- Confidence supporting challenging behaviour and emotional needs
- Calm, patient and consistent approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced Child and Adult DBS (or willingness to apply)
- Relevant qualifications (CACHE/NVQ Level 2 or 3) desirable
- Behaviour management or Team Teach training advantageous
