Are you a passionate Maths teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities across Doncaster? At Academics, we act as an agency and are recruiting a Maths Teacher to work on a temporary, flexible, ongoing supply basis across a large variety of secondary schools throughout Doncaster.
The role allows you to share your passion for Maths with secondary students at a variety of schools, while also offering you the opportunity to undertake general secondary cover to share your passion for other subjects where subject-specific Maths roles are not available.
Location: Doncaster
Contract: Temp, Flexible Ongoing Supply
Pay: £140-£195 per day (Dependent on experience, training, qualifications, Paid via PAYE - No umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)

The role:
- You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 & KS4, driving pupils to build their mathematical knowledge, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- The role is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECT) who are looking for flexible, temporary, ongoing work.
- There may also be opportunities to undertake general secondary cover across a variety of schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Maths Lessons across KS3 & KS4
- Maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines
- Support pupils progress and engagement
- Adapt learning to meet the needs of different pupils
- Follow school planning and curriculum expectations
- Provide general secondary cover when required
- Follow safeguarding procedures at all times
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous Experience teaching Maths, or relevant secondary teaching experience
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- A passion for education
- Experience in Education and Training
