Position: Higher Key Stage 1 Teacher
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you
About the Role
As a Higher Key Stage 1 Teacher in Doncaster, you will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences and supporting pupils across Years 1 and 2.
The Higher Key Stage 1 Teacher role may involve taking responsibility for a class, following existing planning or adapting learning activities to meet the needs of pupils. You could work across a variety of Doncaster primary schools, giving you the opportunity to experience different school environments and teaching approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and support pupils across Key Stage 1
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons appropriate to pupils' needs
- Follow existing school planning and curriculum expectations where required
- Assess pupil progress and provide appropriate feedback
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour effectively and consistently
- Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Confident classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS Certificate or willingness to obtain one
