Academics are currently recruiting qualified Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teachers to work in a range of welcoming and supportive secondary schools throughout Doncaster on a temporary, ongoing supply basis. Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £140 - £195 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)

About the Role
As an MFL Teacher in Doncaster, you will deliver engaging and interactive language lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, typically in French, Spanish, or German depending on your specialism. You may work on both short-term and longer-term assignments, teaching within your language specialism or providing general cover where required. This offers a varied and rewarding teaching experience across different school environments. This role is ideal for teachers who are enthusiastic about languages and culture, and who are committed to helping students develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach French, Spanish, or German depending on your specialism
- Adapt lessons to suit different abilities and learning styles
- Promote engagement and confidence in language learning
- Support pupils preparing for assessments and GCSEs
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Assess pupil progress and provide feedback where appropriate
- Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
- Degree in a Modern Foreign Languages subject or related field
- Experience teaching MFL at KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Flexible, professional, and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
