Academics, an established Education Agency, are recruiting an experienced SEN Teacher to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis across a variety of specialist SEN provisions throughout Doncaster.
This SEN Teacher opportunity offers the chance to support children and young people with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, SLD, PMLD and communication needs. Some specialist provisions include Post-16 learners, therefore an Enhanced Child and Adult DBS is required, or applicants must be willing to obtain both.
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £145 - £220 per day (paid via PAYE, no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you
About the Role
Working as an SEN Teacher in Doncaster, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that are tailored to pupils' individual learning needs within specialist educational settings.
The SEN Teacher role in Doncaster involves working closely with teaching assistants and other professionals to support pupils' academic, social and emotional development whilst promoting positive behaviour and independence.
Key Responsibilities

Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Previous SEN teaching experience or strong knowledge of specialist education
- Understanding of Autism, ADHD, SEMH, SLD, PMLD and additional learning needs
- Enhanced Child and Adult DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain both)
