We are recruiting an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join a primary school Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) in the Dartford area on a long-term basis.
This SEN Teacher role involves working with small groups of pupils with EHCPs, supporting a range of needs including ASD, communication needs and SEMH. The successful SEN Teacher will work within a supportive SEN team and a well-resourced SRP environment.
Responsibilities
- Teaching small groups of pupils within a primary SRP
- Planning and delivering differentiated, individualised lessons
- Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants, the SENCO and external professionals
- Creating a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working as a SEN Teacher or supporting pupils with SEN
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Patient, flexible and committed to inclusive education
