Academics, Education Agency, are currently recruiting an EYFS Teaching Assistant - Worksop to work on a temporary, supply basis across a variety of local primary schools and early years settings in the Worksop area. Working hours are typically 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, depending on school requirements.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting learning through play in line with the EYFS framework
  • Assisting with personal care, routines, and transitions
  • Supporting children's social, emotional, and educational development
  • Working alongside the class teacher and wider EYFS team

In line with the latest Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements, applicants for this EYFS Teaching Assistant role must have:

  • A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years or equivalent)
  • A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • The ability to support positive behaviour and meet individual learning needs
  • The ability to easily commute across Worksop

Paediatric First Aid training is desirable and may be required for certain settings.

Pay rate: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications, inclusive of holiday pay.

Contract type: Temporary, supply-based role.
