As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring that students stay engaged and motivated to learn. - Supervise classes during teacher absences, delivering pre-planned lessons effectively
- Foster a positive, productive and disciplined classroom environment
- Maintain student engagement, ensuring they stay focused and complete tasks as assigned
- Provide feedback on student progress, behaviour and classroom dynamics to teachers and staff
- Adapt to various classroom settings, ensuring consistency and continuity in students\’ learning experience
Cover Supervisor – what we\’re looking for:
- Strong Leadership & Communication Skills: Able to guide and manage students with confidence
- Classroom Authority: Maintain a calm, authoritative presence to manage diverse groups of students
- UK‑Recognised Degree and/or Experience in Education: Prior experience in a similar supervisory role is advantageous
- Adaptability: Flexible and able to adjust to different classroom environments, student needs, and teaching style
- A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for a new certificate, we can help with this process)
- Ability to commute reliably to schools in Kidderminster and/or surrounding areas
