Academics Ltd are working with excellent Secondary schools in and around the Hertfordshire area who are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors. We are looking to appoint proactive, enthusiastic and hardworking people to supervise lessons and support students' learning whilst maintaining the school's high standards of behaviour when teacher colleagues are absent.
This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who has previous experience working in education or may be considering a career working in the education sector. Main responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor will include:
- Manage the behaviour of the class to ensure students are working in a constructive learning environment.
- Supervise the work set by their subject teacher.
- Act as a role model and develop productive working relationships with students.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and health and safety of the students.
Ideal Cover Supervisor will have:
- Previous experience working in a school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
