Full-time, Monday‑Friday, DT Teacher role. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Design Technology lessons across KS3‑KS4. Inspire students through creative, practical, and project‑based learning opportunities. Teach areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, or related DT specialisms. Assess, monitor, and track student progress to support strong attainment. Promote safe working practices within practical classroom environments. Create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere that encourages creativity and participation. Work collaboratively with the Technology department and wider school staff. Contribute to curriculum development and extra‑curricular enrichment opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Design Technology at secondary level (KS3‑KS4).
- Strong subject knowledge across DT disciplines.
- Passion for practical learning and student achievement.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage learners of varying abilities.
- A proactive, positive, and collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
