Key Responsibilities of an SEN TA:
- Supporting learners in a classroom environment, on a 1:1 basis, and in targeted intervention groups to support their learning and personal development needs.
- Help with creating a safe and encouraging environment to help the learners you are supporting thrive.
- Assisting with learning and specific interventions to support social and emotional progress.
- Monitoring achievements and helping students reach their full potential inside and outside the classroom.
- Ensuring safeguarding policies are followed at all times.
- Mentor learners so that they are able to express themselves in a safe and controlled way.
