Qualified Teaching Assistant - Chester
Primary Schools | Flexible Supply | £95-£105 per day
Academics are looking for qualified Teaching Assistants to join our supply team and support primary schools across Chester and the surrounding areas.
We're not just looking for someone to fill a space in the classroom. Our schools need confident, capable TAs who understand how to support learning, build positive relationships with pupils and work effectively alongside teachers.
Whether you're looking for a few days a week, regular supply or a potential longer-term opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
What could your day look like?
- Supporting lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Working with small groups or providing 1:1 support
- Supporting pupils with additional needs and SEND
- Helping with phonics, reading, writing and numeracy
- Working closely with teachers and other support staff
- Helping pupils feel confident, included and ready to learn
We're looking for:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above
- Previous experience working in a primary school
- A good understanding of the role of a TA
- Confidence supporting a range of pupils and abilities
- A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
- A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
