About the Role
Academics are currently working in partnership with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Chester and the surrounding areas to recruit enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECT) into Teacher and Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) roles. These roles are ideal for Early Career Teachers (ECT) looking to secure their first teaching position or gain valuable classroom experience in education and training, as well as flexible supply work or long-term opportunities within a school setting. We have a range of opportunities available, including immediate start supply roles and long-term positions from September, offering flexibility and career progression within primary education.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting and delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assisting with planning, preparation, and assessment (role dependent)
- Supporting pupil progress and development
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff and school leadership
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending qualification
