About the Role
We are seeking aspiring teachers to join our vibrant and inclusive secondary school community near Chertsey. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on classroom experience while working alongside experienced teachers and mentors.
Responsibilities
- Work across various subject departments, based on strengths and interests
- Support teaching and learning in the classroom and small group settings
- Receive high-quality training and mentoring
- Develop understanding of pedagogy and behaviour management
- Be supported to progress onto a teacher training programme (e.g. PGCE, School Direct, or salaried route)
What We're Looking For
- Hold (or are on track to achieve) a bachelor's degree
- Are passionate about working with young people
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Are committed, resilient, and eager to learn
- May be considering a career in teaching but want experience first
No formal teaching experience is required - just a willingness to grow, reflect, and inspire.
