SEN School Support Worker
Location: Gloucestershire
Salary: £93 - £110 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Contract: Term Time Only

About the Role:
At Accademic we are recruiting for a passionate SEN support worker on behalf of a school setting in Gloucester. We are looking for a caring, dedicated and passionate person who will help in providing high quality support to learners and young people with different educational needs. The successful candidate will be passionate about helping individuals thrive and reach their potential.

Clear enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to a range of learners across the day
Build positive and trusting relationships with learners.
Support learners with their learning, development and engagement.
Encourage continued positive behaviour choices, confidence and independence.
Help maintain a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment for all.
Follow all policies and procedures on a daily basis.
We are looking for someone who is:
Caring, patient and adaptable.
Passionate about supporting learning and young people to succeed.
Confident building positive relationships with learners.
Resilient and able to remain calm in challenging situations.
Willing to learn and develop through hands on experience.
Able to work effectively as part of a supportive team.
Experienced working with children or young people is beneficial, but not essential.
An Enhanced DBS check is required, or you must be willing to apply for one.
