We are looking for a passionate and experienced primary teacher to join our 2‑form entry school in Chelmsford. The role begins September 2026, is full‑time, and offers a long‑term contract.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high‑quality lessons for a Reception class.
  • Develop and implement an engaging, play‑based curriculum across the EYFS standards.
  • Assess students’ progress, produce regular reports, and adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
  • Collaborate with partner teachers and the phase leader to create a cohesive learning environment.
  • Participate in department head‑teacher meetings, CPD workshops, and additional training opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching EYFS/KS1, or newly qualified in EYFS/KS1.
  • Registered with the Teaching Regulation Agency (or equivalent regulatory body).
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and assessment processes.
  • Ability to work effectively with children of all abilities.
