An inclusive and forward-thinking primary school in Grays is seeking a passionate and dedicated Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Therapist to join their brand-new Autism Resource Base, which will grow to accommodate up to 10 children. The provision will be led by an experienced specialist teacher, and you will be supported by the Base Manager and a highly collaborative SEN team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of shaping a new resource base, working closely with pupils with autism to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role:

  • Provide tailored ABA support to pupils with autism within a small resource base setting.
  • Work closely with the Base Manager, specialist teacher, and wider SEN team to deliver high-quality interventions.
  • Support children to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
  • Assist in creating an engaging, nurturing, and structured learning environment.
  • Receive on-the-job training and professional development opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children with ASD and knowledge of ABA approaches (desirable but not essential).
